One of my friends had suggested I try Willett Rye Whiskey. Unfortunately I couldn’t find it at the liquor store I went to yesterday, so I settled on this bourbon. It is 94 proof.
This is a complex taste. I defintely get the oak and spices. Also get a sense of vanilla, maple and corn. It is on the lighter side of drinkability, but not too light.
It is an interesting bourbon, and I am totally digging the bottle. However, I don’t think I like it enough to buy it again, even though it was $40. I would rather spend the money on Four Horses in comparision. – Uploaded with a demo version of FlickrExport.
