Oldest bottle of Glendronach single malt whisky

Bonded in 1884, this is Glendronach’s oldest remaining bottling.
It belonged to a soldier who fought in World War 1. He and two comrades had each bought a bottle of Glendronach before heading to war, with the intention of drinking it on their return. Unfortunately only he survived and as a mark of respect never opened his. Years later his family donated the bottle to the distillery.
