Nose – Grape, chocolate and orange.
This unlike the ‘Original’ is unchillfiltered and matured in Bourbon casks before being finished in sherry casks.
There’s chocolate, sherry and oranges plus a nice hint of nuttiness. Compared to the rather mild and dull ‘original’ this has bite and plenty of flavour. Good, clean, rich sherry goodness.
What’s not to like? 7.5/10
