So the fictional story says Old Rip Van Winkle slept for 20 years…alas the 20yr. aged bottle would have set me back several hundred big ones considering it is rated by many as the best bourbon in the world…so I will settle for 12yr. instead. Either way, it is sure to be a Merry Christmas for me as this stuff is supposed to be ridiculously hard to come by.
Given the name, I don’t think I could give it any other treatment than something dreamy…complete with the late afternoon sun, lens flare and bokeh-fied Christmas lights!
