Pitlochry, Scotland. Edradour distillery. In all distilleries it is forbidden taking pictures inside because the air is saturated with alcohol fumes and it is a fire hazard. Some even ask you to switch off your phone. However Edradour wasn’t really working on the day due to maintenance. If you aren’t a whisky drinker visiting 7+ distilleries in Scotland might change your mind. I eventually bought two bottles one from the oldest distillery and one from the newest. Edradour claimed to be the smallest and indeed it seems it takes only two men to run the distillery equipment (17 people to take care of the flocking tourists though…).
