Blood orange & whisky marmalade

After reaching the setting point, the marmalade on my testing saucer tasted good. It had that nice, subtle fruit flavour of moro blood oranges. A bit too subtle for what I had in mind. I wanted something more "in your face".
A good dose of Ardberg 10 years old transformed it to something different. The smokey, peaty notes blend in perfectly with the blood orange flavour. The resulting marmalade is rich, complex, and very nice.
